In the past half of century, humanities population has three folded increasing the demand for energy and natural resources in order to sustain our population. Energy sources such as oil and natural gas have been massively exploited and we are at the verge where a new and more efficient energy source needs to be found. The success on finding an alternate source that will comply to our needs can be a drastic event that will determine the survival of our species in the next half century. This need along with the push for diverting climate change from rising has motivated the exploration of new energy sources and our planet, which has seen our species evolve through thousand of years, has always provided for our survival. Nature is the ultimate source of energy and we must learn how to become sustainable by working with nature in a give and take relationship. The law of physics states that energy cannot be made nor destroyed but it can only be converted. There are unlimited sources of energy such as solar energy, tidal energy, wind energy or other sources such as biofuels. For the past few years I have become interested on exploring these new sources of energy and feel the need to bring awareness to the greater public of the possibilities each one of these has through different graphic design tools such as animations, educational campaigns, informational books and posters.
