Here is a short video on how waste vegetable oil from local restaurants can serve as fuel for diesel powered engines. A friend of mine actually did convert his diesel bus to run on vegetable oil and embarked on a cross country trip to British Colombia. So far the bus has ran 3000 kilometers on Waste vegetable oil.
